About us
Ricbuilt Engineering was established in 1998 in a small shed behind Moranbah Mechanical to service the needs of the local mines.
Founder Eric started out with a Mig, a stick welder and a homemade pan break. In 1999 he employed his first tradesman.
By 2001 Ricbuilt had outgrown the small shed and moved into the back half of their mechanical shop. By 2003 the mechanical shop had closed and Ricbuilt took over the entire shed.
In 2005 a design room was added to aid with 3D modelling of components prior to fabrication, and in 2007 a machine shop was added.
Ricbuilt Engineering currently employs 13 full-time staff and 3 casual staff.
