Ricbuilt Engineering now offers machining facilities.
Our machine shop is equipped to handle a broad range of work in the field of turning, drilling and boring. We cover everything from intricate component manufacture to heavy industrial machining, including metric and imperial thread cutting.
Our qualified tradesman will ensure that your work is carried out to your specifications and to the highest standard of accuracy.
Ticino lathe
The largest of our machinery range is a Ticino lathe with a swing capacity of 620 mm diameter over the bed and 4000 mm between centres. This machine is equipped with a multi-fuction digital readout which makes for greater accuracy and faster machine times.
AFM lathe
The smaller of our machinery range includes an AFM lathe with a swing capacity of 480 mm diameter over the bed and 2000 mm between centres. Like the Ticino lathe, this machine is equipped with a digital readout which makes for greater accuracy and faster machine times.
Other machines
Our Huron milling machine has a table size of 2000 mm x 460 mm with the capacity of machining up to 500 mm high components. The flexible positioning of the machining head allows for a wider range of hard-to-get-at jobs not possible on other milling machines.
Our Asquith OD1 radial arm drill is capable of both drilling and boring. The radial arm has a swing of 1600 mm and a boring capacity up to 200 mm in diameter. The number 5 morse taper allows for large drills to be used.
