Height Adjustable Access Platforms

AP-770 Height Adjustable Platform with Overhang

This height-adjustable access platform is designed to provide safe and stable elevated access for maintenance and inspection work. It features a manual pump hydraulic system, allowing smooth height adjustment from 4.1 m up to 5.8 m without the need for external power.

The extendable overhang (1.7 m to 3.1 m) allows operators to safely work over equipment or hard-to-reach areas while maintaining platform stability. Built with a heavy-duty material, the platform is suitable for demanding industrial and mining environments.

Key Features:

  • Adjustable working height: 4.1 m – 5.8 m

  • Overhang extension: 1.7 m – 3.1 m

  • Manual pump hydraulic lift system

  • Heavy-duty, low-maintenance design

  • Full safety handrails and non-slip decking

  • Locking castors or forklift pockets for easy positioning

Compliant with relevant Australian safety standards.

AP-600 Height Adjustable Platform

This height-adjustable access platform is engineered to provide safe, stable, and versatile access for maintenance, servicing, and inspection tasks across a range of machinery and work environments. The adjustable deck allows operators to position the platform at the optimal working height to reduce manual handling risks and improve accessibility.

Height Specifications

  • Minimum deck height: 2,763 mm

  • Maximum deck height: 3,563 mm (with deck fully extended)

  • Adjustment increments: 200 mm steps

Applications

  • Servicing of dump truck chassis, trays, engines, and components

  • Access to elevated work areas where fixed platforms are impractical

  • Workshop maintenance

  • Field service environments requiring height adjustment

  • Multi-model equipment servicing (e.g., 789, 793, 830, 930 platforms, etc.)

APPLICABLE STANDARDS

Design and verification shall comply with the following Australian Standards:

- AS 1170 – Structural Design Actions

- AS 1664.1 – Aluminium Structures – Limit State Design

- AS 1657 – Fixed Platforms, Walkways, Stairways, and Ladders

DESIGN & VERIFICATION

Load Requirements:

- Walkways, landings, and stair treads designed for uniformly distributed and concentrated loads as per AS 1657.

- Guardrails and handrails to resist specified horizontal and vertical loads.

Environmental Loads:

- Wind loads determined per AS 1170.2, accounting for indoor/outdoor application, wind region, and elevation.

Structural Validation:

- Strength and stability verified through FEA and supporting hand calculations.

- Aluminium structural elements designed per AS 1664.1.

Dimensional Compliance:

- All platform components to meet clearance and dimension criteria outlined in AS 1657.

Additional Considerations:

- Project-specific loads, operational constraints, or environmental conditions assessed where applicable.

CERTIFICATION

All designs to be reviewed and signed off by a qualified structural engineer, with formal certification provided upon verification.
