Caterpillar 785 Rear Cab Access
RB-1328
CAT 785-Rear-Cab Access
This platform is a workshop-use access module for CAT 785 trucks: a stable, elevated platform that can be positioned behind the cab to allow safe access to the cab rear, service panels, and other cab-adjacent areas
Key Features & Components:
Forklift pockets/fork-tyne sleeves — so the platform can be positioned (or relocated) by forklift. This allows easy movement around a workshop or maintenance yard.
Heavy-duty, rigid deck & frame — strong enough to carry a technician and tools at working height safely (with appropriate load rating).
Handrails/guardrails & safety gates — to provide fall protection when the platform is elevated, ensuring compliance with working-at-height safety standards.
Non-slip deck/flooring — to reduce risk of slips/trips when climbing on/off the platform or working at height.
Mobility and manoeuvrability — with castors (or forklift-only relocation) so the platform can be stored or moved when not in use.
Compatibility with CAT 785 cab geometry — designed to match the rear of the 785 cab and allow clear access to service panels, windows, cab doors, etc., without interfering with other parts.
