The Over Blade Dozer Access Platform is a specialised access system designed to provide safe working access over the top of a dozer blade (mouldboard) for maintenance, inspection, and repair tasks.
Unlike standard side or track access platforms, this system is engineered to bridge over the blade, allowing personnel to safely reach the top lip, spill plate, and front face without climbing on the blade itself.
These platforms are commonly used on large mining dozers (e.g. D10 / D11 class) where blade height and curvature make safe access difficult.
Key Functions
Provides safe access over the blade to elevated work areas
Enables maintenance on:
Blade top edge / spill plate
Mouldboard face and weld zones
Wear plates, cutting edges, and guards
Eliminates need to stand on curved or worn blade surfaces
Supports reskinning, welding, and inspection activities
Available as CAT, Komatsu, Liebherr, Hitachi.
